This artwork was stored in an archival environment since acquisition. In 2024, the frederic gallery framed this piece in-house in high quality, archival materials and crafted wood frame.
The included card reads: "An exceedingly prolific painter, Charlotte Sternberg doesn’t believe in waiting for “inspiration”. She believes that constant painting is imperative for the artist who wishes to become and maintain himself as a fine artist. As a result of this philosophy, she has set for herself a rigorous schedule of ten working hours a day. Besides her easel painting she has managed to paint covers and illustrations for some leading magazines, as well as fine art for advertisements. She is a graduate, with honors, from the Yale School of Art and has received high critical praise for her “one man” shows."
