Nationally recognized as one of the finest plain aire realist landscape painters in New England during the 20th century. Corey was one of the most highly decorated with approximately 100 awards including seven gold medals to his credit. He painted on location all over the northeast alongside other great New England masters who were his friends including Lester Stevens, Emile Gruppe, Paul Strisik and many others.
This artwork has been stored in an archival environment since acquisition. In 2024, the frederic gallery framed this piece in-house in high quality, archival materials, and crafted wood frame.
