about us
With galleries previously located across Massachusetts, in Concord, Littleton and Franklin County, we're now on our third generation. We're excited to continue framing and art services online and in-full at our Great Barrington gallery. I grew up in this gallery, I can't wait to welcome you.
Our master framer, the second generation has been entrusted with works by Henri Mattise, Frank Benson, Picasso, Joan Miro, Ansel Adams, Stella, Karsh, Hopper, Baito and more. He continues passing on his knowledge through today.

the second generation
Perry Schwarzer mastered the craft of picture framing; being entrusted with works by Henri Mattise, Frank Benson, Picasso, Joan Miro, Ansel Adams, Stella, Karsh, Hopper, Baito and more.
Mattise's family entrusted him with framing. Museums requested his work.
He continues to be our master framer to this day passing on his knowledge.

the first generation
Peregrin Frederic Schwarzer was an engineer by trade and started this business out of his deep love for art in Seattle in the 60's. He began collecting there and throughout the US, Europe and Japan. He settled the family in Harvard MA where he began framing in a small workshop. His life was filled with the continued search of art and sharing it with his family. As the gallery grew into multiple locations, family and the gallery became one. He welcomed artists to our family's dinner table and was a steady supporter in sharing culture and community. He is the foundation of our gallery.
